The main difference between orange-flavored curacao and blue curacao is the color. Blue adds a wow, aaah or OMG! reaction when used in drinks. For this creation we reach for the blue to mimic the color of Caribbean waters.
1 1/2 ounce gin
1/2 ounce dry vermouth
1/4 teaspoon blue curacao
Put all ingredients in an ice-filled mixing glass and stir evenly for 15 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Squeeze a narrow wedge of lime into the drink, drop the wedge in the glass.
Tasting notes: Classic dry gin martini with a hint of curacao’s sweetness.
