The Mai Tai is one of the Tiki category drinks involving a mix of base spirits, fruit juices, large garnishes, and toppings running to small paper umbrellas. We’ve decided to collapse the ingredient list, reduce the garnish and toss out the umbrella.
My Mai Tai
2 ounces dark rum
2 ounce pineapple juice
1/2 ounce cranberry juice
1/2 ounce lime juice
1/2 ounce orange curacao
Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with several ice cubes. Shaker vigorously. Strain into a ice-filled highball glass. For a minimal Tiki garnish serve with a lime slice speared by a straw.

Tasting notes: Refreshing and fruity flavor bolstered by dark rum. Use 100% juice, freshly squeezed or at least not from concentrate. Makes a huge difference in taste.
