Urbanite, martini cocktail

This variation of a martini uses 1876, a vodka from Dripping Strings, Texas. While most unflavored vodkas have very low taste profiles, 1876 has an almost elusive hint of the limestone filtered water drawn from the Texas Hill Country.

Urbanite Urbanite vert
2 ounces vodka
1/2 Lillet Rose
1/4 Orange curacao
1 dash orange bitters

Pour all the ingredients into a mixing glass with several ice cubes. Stir evenly until thoroughly chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange peel.

Tasting notes: Strong, clear, flavorful martini.

Tomorrow: Tee Eye
