Perhaps it is the imparted color or tingle of its bitter nature, but Campari has a way of reshaping and uplifting a cocktail recipe. Our Camparita is an example. A traditional cocktail, the Margarita, is given a new hue and taste arrangement with a dose of the Italian-made bitter.
Camparita
2 ounces white tequila
1/2 ounce Campari
1/2 ounce lime juice
1/4 ounce lemon juice
1/4 ounce triple sec
Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with several ice cubes. Shake vigorously until very well chilled. Strain into a cocktail or margarita glass. Garnish with a thin lime wedge.
