Macduff, scotch cocktail

“Lay on, Macduff, and damned be him who first cries ‘Hold! enough!’” cried out Shakespeare’s Macbeth. We envision Macbeth pausing and in an aside calling for a “wee drop more of the whiskey, laddie.”

Macduff Macduff vert
1 1/2 ounces scotch
1/2 ounce triple sec
2 dashes Angostura bitters

Put all the ingredients into an ice-filled mixing glass. Stir until thoroughly combined and chilled. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
