Here’s a bourbon drink masquerading in an egg white concoction. Is this a bourbon Ramos Fizz? Or a Bourbon Sour with foam? We don’t know to which category this belongs, but a touch of George Dickel Tennessee Sour Mash with its smoke flavor makes this worth a try.
Kentucky Cloud
2 ounces Kentucky whiskey
1 egg white
2 dashes of Angostura Bitters
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker without ice. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds. Add several ice cubes and again shake vigorously for 15 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Tasting notes: Serve it ice cold. Pleasantly sharp yet smoothly warming.
