This cocktail is a send up of the three Axis Powers of World War II — Germany, Italy and Japan. There’s an austerity to this drink. Serve it icy and use an aperitif glass. No garnish!

Other Side
1 ounce sake
1/2 ounce Galliano
1/2 Jägermeister
1/2 ounce grapefruit juice

Pour all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Give it a long vigorous shake. Strain into a tall aperitif glass.

Tasting notes: It’s really good.
