Alaskini, martini cocktail

In the midst of year-end holidays and New Year resolutions we have completely overlooked celebrating Alaska’s 55th year of statehood. Here is a belated tribute to the 49th state of the union. The Chartreuse will give this a peppery taste.

Alaskini Alaskini ingred vert
1 1/2 ounces dry gin
1/4 ounce yellow Chartreuse
1 dash orange bitters

Stir all ingredients in a mixing glass with plenty of ice. Strain into a chilled cocktail or martini glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
