A while back we offered up the Buenos Dias, a tequila based eye-opener with a coffee-flavored kick. To further our Spanish vocabulary, here’s a tequila way to end the day. The serving glass should be packed with ice.
2 ounces tequila
1/2 ounce creme de banana
1/4 ounce lemon juice
Pour all the ingredients into an ice-filled cocktail shaker and shake until thoroughly chilled. Strain into an old-fashioned glass or tumbler packed with cracked ice.
Tasting notes: A fruity lift to the tequila.
