Cosmopolitan, an 80s invention

Credit the 1980s Sex and the City television series’ stars for advancing this drink into the cocktail hall of fame. With an historical nod nod to the Martini, this pink-hued variation, with a less alcoholic bite, has remained popular for three decades and picked up the sobriquet “Cosmo.” Use not-from-concentrate 100% cranberry juice and fresh lime juice for a true citrus-tart flavor.

1/2 ounce Cointreau
1 ounce not-from-concentrate cranberry juice
