Elvis, a blue Christmas cocktail

Blue? At Christmas? Why not. Who said the only year-end holiday colors are red and green? Curacao is a spirit-based liqueur flavored with bitter orange peel. Usually colorless, blue Curacao is created with food coloring to dress up drinks. Colorless or blue, the flavor is the same. Our blue Christmas Elvis is a fun, deceptively light and bubbly holiday drink.

For the Elvis party version, served in punchbowl or large pitcher, simply multiply all ingredients by 8, which conveniently turns the Champagne volume into a full normal bottle size. And you can play Blue Christmas – Elvis’ Christmas Album or even Mister Willie Nelson’s version: Blue Christmas – Pretty Paper.
