Three Across – Holiday travel cocktail

Aviation week continues with Three Across

The reference here is to airline seating, not a crossword puzzle. This is a drink taken after one of those long flights where you ended up in the middle of three across. The passenger in the aisle seat falls asleep with his head on your shoulder; the guy near the window needs to get up for the toilet every 20 minutes.

Three Across
1 1/2 ounces brandy
3 mint leaves
1 teaspoon simple syrup

Muddle the mint and syrup in a deep old fashioned glass. Fill the glass with ice. Pour in the brandy and stir until chilled.
