When the movie version of Gone With the Wind was released in 1939, people everywhere rushed to ride the film’s wave of success. The makers of Southern Comfort introduced this tart tribute to Tara’s belle.

2 lime wedges
1 1/2 ounces Southern Comfort
Cranberry juice
Place ice cubes in an old-fashioned glass or tumbler and squeeze one lime wedge over the ice. Pour in Southern Comfort, fill with cranberry juice, stir, and garnish with the second wedge.
